Rental safety tips

1. Visit the property (or join a live video call) before sending any money.
2. Never pay a “reservation fee” to someone you have not met or whose identity you could not check.
3. Ask for proof that the person may lease the property: title or tax declaration, or a special power of attorney / management agreement.
4. Sign a written lease that states the rent, deposit, advance, due date and how the deposit is returned.
5. Pay through traceable channels (bank transfer, GCash, Maya) and keep receipts. VillaVeri never asks you to pay rent through us.
6. Report suspicious listings with the “Report this listing” link — reports are reviewed by our team.
